But the one thing that really attracts me to Google is that with the company's blessing and maybe even sponsorship, each employee is allowed one day to work on his own idea/project that in time can benefit the company. Meaning, you are allowed to have your creativity free rein - and with a possible future at that. Wish there were other companies here that were as forward-thinking. With those perks and that one personal creative day, no wonder a lot of people are lining up to work for Google. Yeah all that is nice. But the one thing that really attracts me to Google is that with the company’s blessing and maybe even sponsorship, each employee is allowed one day to work on his own idea/project that in time can benefit the company. Meaning, you are allowed to have your creativity free rein – and with a possible future at that. Wish there were other companies here that were as forward-thinking.

It's like working in ABS-CBN Publishing and then being allowed to spend one day to do research/writing/marketing/fund-raising for a future magazine that I can pitch to ABS-CBN later on.
