Term life insurance quotes

For days now, my husband and I have been seriously discussing about getting our daughter a term life insurance. Why not? After all, it’s always better to be safe now than sorry in the end.

But then again, considering the number of insurance companies that have closed down recently due to global recession, one can just be very careful and wise in getting the best plans there is. In our case, we have started checking insurance companies online and have also been asking people we know who are investing in one to get term life insurance quotes. Because really, we do not want to put our money into plans that won’t cover the best policy for our daughter’s future.

Every House Needs a Good Fence

When I was in California some two years ago for a business trip, one thing I have instantly noticed are the ranch sites and high-end neighborhoods in one of the cities in Orange County. And among the most noticeable thing about them are the high and beautiful fences that surrounded the properties I passed by to and from the office everyday within the two weeks of my stay.

I am greatly impressed and amazed by their gates that every time I’d go back to my hotel, I am always excited to surf the web and look up for where I can possibly get inspiration for my own residential fence once I start building my dream house. Surprisingly, there have been so many sources to consider such as San Diego Fence Company, Custom Gates San Diego, and Vinyl Fencing In San Diego, to name a few. Though a beautiful house is in itself more than enough to make several heads turn twice, a good fence always adds more aesthetic appeal to it. And if you’re someone saving up for your future dream house like me, always save a portion of your budget to a well-built fence.

Rosanna Roces criticizes teachers on Showtime

Ooops, she did it again!

Oh well, Rosanna Roces will not be the Rosanna Roces we all know today without her acerbic and scathing words. And ABS-CBN should have known better how capable she can be for saying whatever she feels like saying, even if it means getting a show suspended or axed for good. Though there is no escaping the fact that she made a very uncalled for remark against teachers in general, still, the blame should not all go to her.

Body Massage at Cosmedic Trinoma

The week has been so kind to me. On Monday, I got myself a foot spa and a pedicure. Tuesday was time for a scalp treatment and hot oil to rid off the itchiness in my scalp and get back the gloss to my hair which has been dried out caused by too much stress at work. And late this afternoon, I treated myself to a one hour full body massage at Cosmedics in Trinoma mall.

Wow, it felt really great to pamper yourself once in a while! The massage was such a delight. However, unlike before when I’d usually take oils, this time I tried powder for a change. It was my second visit at Cosmedic and as usual I chose to have an hour of Swedish massage. My favorite masseuse (ironically, I forgot her name) gently kneaded my back, arms, legs, thighs, as well as did some stretching. I literally fell asleep on the first 10 minutes of the massage and she just had to wake me up when it was time for the stretching.

What I love about Cosmedic is that they have several rooms for their massage services. I really would feel uncomfortable being massaged in a cubicle partitioned only by a curtain. The room was properly dimmed and the background music was totally relaxing.

I hope Cosmedic would establish another branch within Metro Manila. That way I wouldn’t have to travel from, say Makati to Quezon city. Aside from body massage, Cosmedic also offers facial treatments and dental services.

Go wireless in uploading your pictures

NOTE: This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Eye-Fi. All opinions are 100% mine.

One of the major things I love to do during social gatherings or when I’m on a trip, is taking pictures. And I love it even more when I can easily upload those captured memories in my Facebook account to share with friends and family.

This could have been fine, except that sometimes it’s too much of a hassle when I misplace the card reader I frequently use to upload pictures or videos.

Two days ago, I came across this dilemma once more. I couldn’t locate my card reader and I couldn’t wait to upload and see the pictures taken during the Christmas holidays. Really, it was very annoying when something like that happens and pictures stay still in the camera, when I could have shared it to my sisters who have kept bugging me about their pictures so they can upload them to their Facebook account, too.

I was just about to give up when I heard about this new innovation that could make you go wireless in transfering photos and videos from your camera to your computer.

I’m talking about Eye-Fi . The idea is simple, memory card plus a wi-fi, and you get a super easy and convenient way of uploading pictures from your camera to your computer without sweating a thing. Simply, turn your camera on and you get your images flying out where you want them sent.

To give you more details about this newest and exciting innovation, check out the video below:

Geez, I can’t wait to get my own Eye-Fi card and enjoy the easiest way of uploading pictures in my Facebook account.

My Belle de Jour 2010 planner

When Starbucks released its 2007 planner, I felt so sorry for not getting one for myself. The following year I waited only to find out that their 2008 edition was no match to the previously hard-bound one they had, so much to my dismay.

Then I heard about Belle de Jour and quickly found their website and the gorgeous planner they released. I scoured The Ramp, Powerbooks, and Coffee Bean, where the planner has been distributed and is being sold, but got only frustrated because it was sold out. Whew, it quickly sold like hot pancakes and I was too late to even place an order to their website. Talk about bad luck!

This year though I made it a point to get one and I made sure to get one as fast as I heard its released date. And voila, got mine at Powerbooks in SM Mega mall.

my pretty Belle de Jour 2010 planner

Just like its previous editions, the 2010 Belle de Jour planner is filled with lotsa coupons you can use in major establishments. What’s more, the planner has some perk-me-up short articles any stressed out chick can relate to, and a separate notepad to jot down daily errands or to do list at work you can post on your workstation.

Yey, can’t wait to start using it for this new year.

Happy new year every one!
