Finally, hubby and I were done with the food tasting last weekend at City Garden Suites Manila. Just a recap, we availed their Lavander wedding package and there are three (3) sets of menu for this package which we reviewed prior coming up with our final buffet menu.
What I like about their buffet wedding packages is that they consist of atleast five (5) main dish, two (2) salad choices, two (2) types of desserts, and a bottomless iced tea.
For the salad, we selected the Ham and Cheese pasta salad…

Whereas for the five hot dish, we made sure we have pork, beef, seafood, chicken, and some veggies.

Herbed Roast Chicken au Jus
Buttered Vegetables
And for the pasta, there were the common choices of carbonara and spaghetti, thus, we opted for something more different which is the Ziti al Pesto Crema.

We didn’t get to have a sample of the desserts but that’s fine. I guess the main dishes were the most favored here during wedding reception, since a lot of times people are already way too full by the time they’re ready for some sweets.

yep masarap din food nila. For the package and rates and inclusions, what I have is the old one they gave me when I booked with them. I supposed nag-change na din. hi wandergirl! I’m considering city garden suites for our wedding on December. I would like to know your opinion if it is a ‘worth it’ choice? Honestly i’m interested but a little bit hesitant because They are offering a good price for a very pretty good package. It’s a once in a lifetime event and we want the best for it. City Garden wedding packages are just OK for me. If money isn’t an issue or we had a bigger budget I’d go for Diamond Hotel or the likes because I’ve seen their wedding package and they’re really good. But again, since we have a pretty reasonable budget, and City Garden fits the bill in such a way that it’s near Paco Church, where we had the ceremony, and marami yung main dish and desserts na kasama sa package, we decided to book. Another factor is that we’ve gotten married during the rainy season, so as much as we’d like to do the reception on Paco Park church na din and get a caterer we dismissed the idea na lng to be safe. If you go for a caterer there are those that offers the same price offered to us by City Garden pero mas elegant ang dating. Apart from the package, consider the vicinity and the included amenities, as well as the weather para you can decide better whether to go for a hotel reception or a garden one. Goodluck
