My First Ever US Trip

When I was told by my supervisor that I’d be sent to the US for a 2-week training for a new outsource program of the company I am working for, I literally wanted to faint and thought I was just probably having a bad dream. First of all, US is the last place in the world I ever imagined to be in because I knew how hard it is to get a visa just to visit the country. Second, the training has something to do with a promotion which I was never prepared for. Nevertheless, with the speedy turn out of events, I still ended up flying with Mel (our product trainer) and went through the 2-week product training as part of the migration of the account.

Looking back though, I can say it was such a fresh experience – the kind that will give me smiles forever. We stayed at Fairfield Inn in Mission Viejo, CA. Every morning, we were transported to and from the hotel via the shuttle provided by Fairfield Inn. While there, we’ve seen Disneyland, Universal Studios, downtown LA, outdoor malls, Beverly Hills, Rodeo Drive, Santa Monica Pier, and more.
